I Said I loved You, But I Lied
I
said I loved you, the day we said I do,
I
said my love for you, would always be true.
Things
have changed after all of these many years,
Through
the joys, sorrows, laughter and tears.
You
have somehow come to mean more to me,
There
is no longer I, but now only we.
Words
can not express the miracle God has shown,
You're
now flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone.
To
simply say I love you would be a misgiving,
You
are the air I breathe, the very life I am living.
Love
is but an emotion and emotions can hide.
I
said I loved you, but I lied.
