We have a bond, but what kind?  Is it the kind of bond that lasts, made of strong chains adding more links as it grows? A temporary bond, like a rope that will wear and rot away, leaving us both frayed and worn as well?  A bond of lust, that will rise to a fire of passion and then slowly die of the intense heat, leaving us breathless?  Perhaps it is a bond of friendship, a true caring for the other, loving unconditionally?

Is it possible to have many different bonds in one relationship?  I think perhaps it is very possible...  it takes some of all of these to form the bond of the strong chain.  The chain needs to be refined by being there for each other through the bad times.....   the chain needs fire to form it and inter link it.....  the chain needs unconditional love to strengthen it, so it will not break.
